Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott has passed a bill today stating that any doctor who reports rape, assault and child abuse of refugees living on Manus Island will be prosecuted and subjected to prison time.
I repeat: HE IS IMPRISONING PEOPLE WHO REPORT ASSAULTS ON REFUGEES LIVING IN DETENTION CENTRES!
To make matters worse, the Australian government did not seek permission from the locals living on Manus Island before they built the detention centre, that illegally house just over a thousand vulnerable refugees.
THESE ARE NO DIFFERENT TO CONCENTRATION CAMPS.Children, women and men are being raped, bashed, starved and suffering from mental abuse and our government is trying to cover it up by making it illegal to report it. Please don’t let this go uncovered or unheard about. People need to know what he is doing.
